Job Summary
Be a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in our KeyBank communities. As a Teller, you provide excellent client service in-person by welcoming both new and existing clients to the Bank and assisting them with their account transactions and servicing needs, including identifying and resolving client servicing issues. Tellers, through conversations with clients, listen to uncover financial needs and transition clients to a banker to have a deeper financial wellness conversation. Attend and participate in in-person morning huddles and end of day debriefs. Follow compliance, audit and security procedures, balances cash drawer within balancing guidelines. Work on Saturdays as directed by management. Educate clients on managing their finances effectively and promote financial health. Ability to accurately and securely process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift. Promote and discuss relevant banking products and services to meet clients’ financial goals and needs, leveraging available channels (ATM, Online Banking, Telephone Banking).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma , GED, or equivalent business experience (required)
- Experience in a client service role (required)
- Experienced in cash handling (required)
- General understanding of PC with Windows based applications and calculator (required)
