Job Summary
Part-Time Teller role based in Grayslake, IL. Responsibilities include processing a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments) and balancing the teller drawer; serving customers in lobby or drive-up; recognizing cross-sell opportunities and directing customers to appropriate bank personnel; developing skills to recognize potential fraud and reporting it to management; complying with department, bank, and regulatory policies; upholding the company culture; and possibly handling bank opening/closing and participating in community events. Strong emphasis on cash handling, customer service, accuracy, compliance, and teamwork in a retail banking environment. The position offers an hourly rate in the range of $19.00-$21.00 with eligibility for an annual bonus, and comes with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service
- High school degree or GED
- Travel between branches may be necessary
- Must be available to work all shifts including Saturdays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
