Job Summary
Accept deposits, process loan payments, cash checks, and issue money orders and cashier's checks while providing exceptional in-person and phone customer service. Maintain customer confidentiality by adhering to privacy policies and all federal, state, and local regulatory rules governing financial institutions. Complete required regulatory compliance training and connect customers to specialized department specialists for complex financial needs. Assist clients through self-service technologies and perform any additional tasks assigned by management. This part-time role is located at Guaranty Bank & Trust in Conroe, TX, requiring a high school diploma, one year of customer service experience, and six months of teller experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year customer service and cash handling experience
- Must live within 30 minutes of the bank's location
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day
- Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation
- Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines
