Job Summary
Part-Time Teller responsible for processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and various payments in-person or via mail; balance daily transactions, verify cash totals, detect discrepancies, and actively cross-sell Credit Union services. Requires knowledge of teller operations, basic Credit Union operations, strong math and communication skills, professional appearance, and ability to operate relevant office equipment. Must have at least six months cash-handling experience and be able to handle drive-up and night-drop duties while maintaining privacy of member information and contributing to the Credit Union’s professional reputation.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least six months cash handling experience
- Knowledge of Teller operations and procedures
- Basic understanding of Credit Union operations
- Good communication skills
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
- Good math skills
- Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including adding machine, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone
- Good typing skills
