Job Summary
As a Part Time Teller, you will engage in assisting customers with various banking needs and processing transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. You will provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and escalate complex issues for timely resolution. You will welcome customers, minimize wait times, and educate customers on self-service options using digital tools. You may support nearby branch locations as needed. Responsibilities extend to custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks while maintaining an accurate cash drawer and a clean, organized work area. The role emphasizes cross-selling bank products to deepen customer relationships and adherence to bank policies and risk management protocols. You should be energetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable with basic math and computer proficiency, with the ability to work varied branch hours including weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or GED- Required Qualifications
- 6+ Months Cash Handling experience - Required
- 6+ Months Demonstrated customer service experience - Required
- Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Comfortable in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement
- Energetic, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
