Job Summary
Provide lifestyle management education and support to members via phone, video, or digital methods to improve health outcomes. Collaborate closely with care coordinators, dietitians, and physicians to manage comorbidities related to obesity under physician supervision. Conduct remote patient monitoring for devices and support dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within established protocols. Quickly establish rapport with a diverse population using motivational interviewing techniques to support behavior changes and present webinars as needed. Work virtually as an independent contractor for at least 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must be an RN with an active license in good standing
- Must have a home office for private conversations along with high-speed internet
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere
- Must live in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Compact/Multistate license preferred
- Previous experience in home health, pulmonary rehab, cardiac rehab or bariatric surgery preferred
- Experience in supporting and educating on anti-obesity medications is preferred
- Proven experience utilizing motivational interviewing to promote behavior change
- Demonstrated ability to receive constructive feedback and incorporate it into member calls to drive performance
