Part Time Teen Employee

Part Time Teen Summer Employee at the YMCA supporting daily operations, helping staff, delivering excellent customer service to members and visitors, setting up/organizing activities, maintaining tidy common areas, monitoring facility safety, and collaborating with teen leadership and staff. Responsibilities include greeting and serving members, arriving on time in uniform, enforcing safety and membership policies, problem solving independently, covering shifts (opening/closing/weekends) when needed, communicating YMCA policies, maintaining a neat workspace, responding to emergencies, attending staff meetings, and performing other duties as assigned. Skills include multitasking, strong communication, a welcoming demeanor, customer-focused service, ability to follow instructions, teamwork, and a professional, cheerful attitude; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. The role is part-time, seasonal (July 1 – August 28) with shifts varying and up to 25 hours per week at $15/hour.
