Job Summary
Part-time Team Leader for LEGO Brand Retail in Staten Island, NY, responsible for training and developing Sales Associates, maximizing profitable sales through regular review of sales and margin information, maintaining store graphics and pricing, replenishing fixtures, evaluating visual merchandising, and delivering LEGO-brand customer experiences. Leads by example to motivate and develop a high-performance team, maintains holiday/attendance scheduling, supervises staff during shifts, ensures cash handling and stockroom organization, and supports merchandise presentation following store guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment
- Delivery of Employee training
- Cash handling and inventory/sales auditing
- Point of sale automated systems
- Merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising
- Physical specifications: Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.
