Job Summary

Provide care for a group of children as part of a teaching team, working with infants through Pre-K. Maintain a safe and healthy environment by ensuring active supervision, promoting healthy eating practices, and following sanitizing procedures. Implement planned activities, engage children in learning both indoors and outdoors, and facilitate hands-on experiences that support social and emotional development. Greet children and parents daily, encourage independence, and use positive guidance techniques. Collaborate with staff on classroom maintenance, transitions, and special needs support while attending meetings and training. Adhere to state licensing and NAEYC standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2 or more years of Early Childhood Education experience
  • Child Development Associate (CDA)
  • Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC)
  • Technical College Diploma (TCD)
  • Associate degree
  • 60 or more total hours toward Bachelor's
  • Completed BA/BS
  • Background check
  • Fingerprinting
  • Drug test
  • Ability to pass a hearing test
