Job Summary
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children ages 2 months to 5 years old. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom while fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members. Hold EEC certification in Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool and possess previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting. Work flexible shifts between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm, with highest demand during morning and early afternoon blocks. This part-time role offers competitive hourly pay of $20.50, paid sick time, and career growth opportunities within our early learning center.
Required Qualifications
- EEC certification in Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Up-to-date immunizations
- Previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of your choice: any hours 6:30 am-6:00 pm
- The most needed shifts are between 6:30/7-10 am and 2:30/3-6 pm
