Job Summary
Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for adolescent school-age patients in a residential behavioral health facility in Lewiston, ME. Provide individualized academic assistance to students aged 7th through 12th grade while monitoring teaching strategies to ensure success. Maintain accurate attendance records and session reports, communicating student progress as needed. Work a year-round, 20-hour weekly schedule Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The role supports the mission of helping 10 million students with behavioral health issues continue education during treatment.
Required Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Active Maine teaching license
- Comfortable working with 7th -12th grade students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable Transportation
