Job Summary
Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for 8 to 15 school-age patients receiving behavioral health treatment in a small classroom setting. Provide individualized academic assistance and monitor teaching strategies to ensure student success. Maintain accurate attendance records and session reports while communicating progress as needed. Commit to a 20-hour weekly schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Join LearnWell's network of educators dedicated to helping students reintegrate into the classroom after treatment.
Required Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Illinois state teaching license
- Comfortable working with adolescent students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
