Job Summary
Lead small groups of swimmers through progressively challenging skills using organized lesson plans and positive reinforcement. Teach age-appropriate techniques from basic water safety to competition-specific training while enforcing facility policies. Communicate progress to parents and collaborate with teammates during ongoing trainings. Cover all material required for assigned swim levels. This role offers leadership experience with fast-paced promotions to Lead Instructor and Supervisor positions. Cross-training opportunities exist in retail, customer service, administration, team management, coaching, and logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work at least one 4-hour shift either Sat. or Sun. and at least two weekdays
- Certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR, and First Aid (training and course will be available for candidates after hiring, however; preference will be given to those that have active certification)
