Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty, managing staff, handling urgent issues, and executing opening and closing procedures including cash security and alarm setup. Train crew members on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensure efficient checkouts, and support onboarding to improve associate performance. Drive sales by optimizing merchandising and stock placement while performing store maintenance such as cleaning, sweeping, and organizing new inventory. Actively seek ways to boost revenue through staff management and customer engagement. Requires flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Hourly position starting at $11.50.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers
