Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty, managing staff, handling urgent issues, and executing opening/closing procedures including cash security and alarm setup. Ensure crew members deliver the B.E.S.T. customer service experience by training associates, optimizing merchandising to drive sales, and addressing guest needs. Manage stock receiving, unpacking, and organizing new inventory while performing maintenance tasks such as cleaning bathrooms and sweeping. Support onboarding and training for new associates on store policies and product knowledge. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Hourly pay starts at $11.50.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face
- Ability to exchange accurate information in communication situations
