Job Summary
Create test strategies and plans for self-driving behavior features while identifying, tracking, and resolving implementation issues with cross-functional teams. Propose and validate new testing methodologies using automated metrics, then design and execute synthetic and log-based scenarios on an in-house simulation framework. Compile triage results from multiple QA validation platforms and lead cross-functional participation in testing pipelines and enablement projects. Currently enrolled in an M.S. program, you must commit to a minimum 6-month assignment, 40 hours per week, and on-site work in Foster City, California. Adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in designing and implementing scalable software systems test strategies with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with automated test framework and test automation
- Experience with JIRA, GIT, Linux command line, Python, or other scripting languages
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Currently enrolled in M.S. program in a relevant discipline
- Available to commit to a minimum 6 month assignment
- Able to commit a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Able to work on-site in Foster City California
- Must adhere with Zoox confidentiality requirements, including refraining from using or sharing proprietary company information outside of Zoox, such as in academic research, theses, publications, or presentations
