Job Summary
Set up, execute, and break down street hockey game zones, goalie challenges, stick handling races, slap shot competitions, and video game areas at Nashville Predators home games and community appearances. Positively represent the brand while fostering a safe, professional atmosphere for fans of all ages. Collect and report valuable feedback and insights after each event to supervisors. Work all home games with 80% availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while traveling middle Tennessee for off-site events. Lift objects up to 75lbs frequently and work outside in various conditions. Complete SafeSport Core Training and undergo a background investigation.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old
- 80% availability for events/home games
- Available to work flexible, non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, for home games, and various events in the community
- Knowledge of the game of hockey
- Ability to lift, maneuver and carry objects weighing up to 75lbs
- Must complete/or have already completed SafeSport – Core Training
- A desire to learn and work in the sports industry
- Strong communication skills
- Possess a professional manner while interacting with fans of all ages
- Possess a valid driver's license, possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by the Nashville Predators insurance carrier
- Must be detail-oriented and be able to focus on multiple tasks at once
- Must be able to work outside in various conditions (Heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Subject to a background investigation, including a criminal history check, previous employment verification and character references
Desired Qualifications
- Previous promotional experience is a plus: previous experience working with a professional or collegiate sports team is a plus
