Part-Time Street Maintenance Technician

Part-time Maintenance/Driver for the City’s Public Works department performs routine and repetitive tasks to construct, maintain and repair streets, roads, bridges, medians, right of ways, gutters, curbs, sidewalks, drainage systems, and related duties within city limits. Duties include sidewalk and curb painting, operating and maintaining light equipment and vehicles, performing physical maintenance tasks (hand work with asphalt and concrete), loading/unloading, potential exposure to traffic, and adherence to safety rules. Must pass required physical and drug screening and have a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid Texas driver’s license. Works under direct supervision with general guidelines and may perform other related duties as assigned.
