Part Time Store Clerk

Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly and assisting them with browsing inventory or checking out items. Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts while displaying and organizing products for easy customer access. Maintain the store's appearance through dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise, and assist with ordering, inventory tracking, and display preparation. Monitor customers to assist with loss prevention and uphold safety policies by identifying and correcting workplace hazards. Work afternoons, evenings, and weekends to meet business needs, with duties including lifting up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English to customers and coworkers
- Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment such as, but not limited to, cash register, time and record keeping computer systems
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work flexible hours preferred
