Job Summary
Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at ALDI. Responsibilities include cashier duties using the POS system to process purchases, following cash policies, opening additional lanes as needed, and handling curbside pickup orders. Stocker duties include stocking shelves per merchandising planograms and arriving as early as 5:00am. Maintain store and merchandising standards, support management in achieving operational efficiency and safety, and ensure proper product handling and inventory procedures. Requires strong customer service, basic arithmetic, effective communication, reliability, and ability to work both independently and with others. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with planned increases over the first five years; role is on-site in Mishawaka, IN.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to maintain reliable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Retail experience preferred

- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.

- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
