Job Summary
ALDI is hiring for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker in Naples, FL. The role combines cashier duties with stocking responsibilities to ensure a smooth store operation and positive customer experience. Cashier tasks include using the POS system to process purchases, handling cash according to store policies, and managing curbside pickup orders. Stocker duties include shelving products, following merchandising planograms, and arriving as early as 5:00am. The position requires strong customer service, basic arithmetic, ability to operate store equipment, adherence to safety and inventory procedures, and the ability to work both independently and with others in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS system and cash registers
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to work early hours (as early as 5:00am)
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to interpret and apply operating policies and procedures
- Reliable and prompt attendance
