Job Summary
Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at ALDI performing cashier duties using POS system and stocking shelves to maintain merchandising standards. Responsibilities include processing customer purchases, following cash policies, handling curbside pickup orders, stocking and organizing merchandise per planograms, maintaining inventory procedures, cleaning, and upholding store safety and efficiency. Requires ability to operate store equipment, communicate effectively, and meet availability; positions include early start times (as early as 5:00am) and on-site, in-store work. Starting wage $20/hour with scheduled increases over years 2–5.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate cash registers/POS system
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks
