Job Summary
Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at ALDI — provide friendly, efficient checkout service as a cashier and assist with stocking and merchandising to maintain organized shelves and a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, handling cash policies, processing curbside pickup, stocking shelves according to merchandising plans, maintaining store zones and inventory procedures, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Requires ability to perform duties with or without accommodations, early shifts (as low as 5:00am for stockers), and strong customer service, arithmetic, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS and cash registers
- Ability to interpret and follow operating policies and procedures
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to maintain reliability and punctual attendance
- Ability to stock shelves and follow merchandising planograms
