Job Summary
ALDI Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker in Dunkirk, NY. Responsibilities include: operating the POS to process purchases, maintaining customer service standards, assisting with store operations and inventory procedures, stocking shelves and keeping displays neat per planograms, supporting curbside pickup, ensuring safety and equipment upkeep, and maintaining store cleanliness and merchandising standards. Must be able to arrive for early shift (as early as 5:00am) and meet availability requirements. Starting wage $19.00 per hour with increases in Year 2–Year 5. Minimum age 18; High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS and cash handling
- Ability to interpret and apply store policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to organize and complete tasks within timeframes
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Availability for required hours (on-site)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 18 years old required
- Retail experience preferred
- Stocking and merchandising duties
- Ability to arrive as early as 5:00am for stocker shift
