Job Summary
ALDI part-time Store Cashier/Stocker. Responsibilities include cashier duties with POS scanning, handling cash policies, and stocking shelves according to merchandising planograms. Role supports store management in achieving operational efficiency and safety, with emphasis on customer service, inventory procedures, and maintaining store standards. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds, work early mornings (as early as 5:00am), and operate store equipment. Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred; age 18+ required. On-site in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
