Job Summary
Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at ALDI who will perform cashier duties using the POS system and stock shelves with planograms, while ensuring a clean, organized store and providing a great customer shopping experience. Roles include processing customer purchases, handling curbside pickup items, stocking merchandise, merchandising to planograms, maintaining inventory procedures, and adhering to store policies. Must be able to arrive early (as early as 5:00am) and maintain reliable attendance. Strong customer service, communication, and basic arithmetic skills are required, along with the ability to operate store equipment and follow safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment (cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers)
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
