Job Summary
Part-time cashier and stocker roles at ALDI. You’ll provide friendly, efficient checkout service as a cashier and help keep shelves stocked and organized as a stocker. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, processing purchases, following cash policies, maintaining merchandising and inventory procedures per planograms, ensuring store safety and cleanliness, assisting management to achieve operational and loss-prevention goals, and delivering a positive customer shopping experience. Must be able to arrive for early shifts (as early as 5:00am) and lift up to 45 pounds. Strong communication, basic arithmetic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with others are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate POS and cash registers
- Ability to interpret and apply operating policies
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to meet availability requirements
- Minimum age 18
