Job Summary
Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at ALDI performing cashier duties and stocking responsibilities. Roles include using the POS system to process purchases, following cash policies, managing curbside pickup, stocking shelves according to merchandising planograms, ensuring store zones and inventory procedures are maintained, and upholding safety and housekeeping standards. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds, work early shifts (stockers may start as early as 5:00am), and collaborate with store management to support operational efficiency and minimize losses. Demonstrates strong customer service, communication, and the ability to work both independently and with others in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to maintain reliable attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
