Job Summary
Conduct daily retail operations at the Benton Harbor location, including customer service, sales assistance, and stocking shelves. Manage cash handling, process transactions, and maintain store cleanliness while adhering to safety standards for lifting up to 50 lbs. Work flexible Monday through Saturday hours from 7AM to 8PM, with Sunday shifts from 9AM to 6PM, while remaining available for holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Easter. This role supports the retail division of Gordon Food Service, the primary supplier for small food service operators and families, offering a fast-paced environment with high internal promotion rates and development programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Able to provide superior customer service
- Able to multitask
- Work on your own or within a team
- Basic math and computer skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Letter of support from customer management (if candidate works for a Gordon Food Service customer)
