Job Summary
Part-Time store associate/cashier/stocker at ALDI responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain a great shopping experience. Duties include operating the POS system, processing customer purchases, following inventory procedures, and upholding store policies and safety standards. Roles span cashiering, stocking shelves per planograms, and general cleaning; early start shifts may be required (as early as 5:00am) with lifting up to 45 pounds. Requires at least 18 years old and HS diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail experience appreciated. Focused on delivering friendly customer service, teamwork, and adherence to operational efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
