Job Summary
Perform load-in, changeover, and load-out for band and rental equipment while utilizing safety protocols for rigging and loading. Assist audio, lighting, video, and special effects crews with equipment placement, builds, cabling, fixtures, and ladders. Handle stage maintenance, curtain care, riser construction, and barricade placement. Set up and operate spotlights as needed. Support special events operations and maintain a calm presence in fast-paced environments. Work primarily nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Reliable means of communication for scheduling and urgent contact
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, policies, and procedures
- Ability to maintain a calm, composed presence in an often fast-paced environment where multiple tasks, events, and stimuli may occur simultaneously
- Ability to work primarily nights and weekends, and occasionally holidays, as event schedules dictate
- Physical strength to set up and strike arena and perform other assigned tasks
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
