Part Time Sr. Transportation Officer - As needed

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Three (3) years of continuous law enforcement related experience
• Two (2) years of lead supervisor or supervisory experience or completion of GEO’s Supervision Training Course
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Must have completed an approved training program resulting in a certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military
• Current U.S. driver’s license with good driving record
• Passing a company and DOT drug and alcohol test
• Ability to work overtime frequently
• Ability to travel extended periods with overnight stays
• Ability to handle physical and mental stress
• Ability to regularly report to work on time
• Ability to work up to sixteen (16) hours within a rolling 24-hour period
• Ability to command respect from inmates or detainees and staff
• Ability to pass a Company and Federal Client background investigation
• Willing to travel for extended periods on short notice

Additional Requirements

• Must be physically alert on any assigned shift.
• Must be mature and flexible.
