Job Summary
Under supervision, the SLP Assistant supports Speech-Language Pathologists by conducting screenings and/or assessments, implementing treatment plans or protocols, assisting with remediation of speech and language skills, collecting data, documenting progress, and carrying out clerical duties as directed. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or speech-language pathology and Texas licensure as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant. The role involves working in a school setting to support students’ language, articulation, fluency, and related goals, and collaborating with the therapy team to coordinate services and maintain records.
