Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one Spanish instruction tailored to individual student needs and learning styles. Guide students toward mastery using a gradual release approach that builds confidence and academic success. Deliver lessons without the responsibility of lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading. Maintain proficiency in G-Suite and Learning Management Software while supporting students in grades 1–12 across Brightmont Academy's campuses. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish or Language Education, plus background check clearance.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in your subject area (Spanish, Language education)
- Patience & Empathy: You understand that every student learns differently, and you're committed to supporting them every step of the way.
- A Heart for Teaching: A genuine passion to share your subject with the next generation.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS)
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
Desired Qualifications
- A teaching certification - nice to have, but not required!
- Experience teaching Spanish
- Advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise.
- Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
