Job Summary
Deliver speech-language pathology services in patients’ homes across Daviess, Martin, Knox, Dubois, Pike, and Orange Counties in Indiana Part-Time (20 hours/week) with travel required and mileage reimbursement. Conduct evaluations, develop and implement plans of care, administer therapy using specialized techniques or equipment, identify device needs, coordinate with physicians and care teams, participate in case conferences, prepare notes, supervise home health aides as needed, and refer patients for additional services. Requires a master's or doctoral degree in SLP and state licensure (or approved practicum pathway), CPR certification, valid driver’s license, TB test, and strong communication/organizational skills. Employment offers mileage reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and access to benefits for part-time staff; travel is a core aspect of the role with home visits and occasional remote work at the local office or via remote tasks. Candidates should be prepared to work across multiple Indiana counties and document care in accordance with organizational standards and service agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or equivalent (350 clock hours practicum if state does not license SLPs)
- 9+ months of supervised SLP services (if not licensed)
- Current CPR certification
- Licensed driver with reliable automobile
- Recent TB test
- Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills
