Job Summary
Conduct overnight, daytime, or home sleep studies on patients with known or suspected sleep disorders, including pediatric and adult testing. Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, and perform positive airway pressure mask fittings. Monitor and document patient data at 30-minute intervals to ensure comprehensive recording for the ordering physician. Educate and assist patients throughout the night while troubleshooting independently. Work professionally with team members at Skokie, Peterson, and St. Elizabeth locations, with willingness to travel within the Chicagoland area.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work and trouble-shoot independently
- Excellent customer service skills and an elevated level of professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT/RST)
- CPR certified
- All employees are required to provide proof of vaccination or exemption
- A valid driver's license is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience
- Multi-lingual, especially Spanish speaking
- One – Five years of clinical experience
- Versed on Natus/Embla/Sandman
- A valid driver's license is preferred
