Job Summary
Apply industrial coatings and paint to fabricated parts and equipment according to specifications. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, grinding, or sanding. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to move materials safely. Load and unload shipments, inspect finished products for quality, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements while assisting with general shop duties. This part-time role in a manufacturing environment may require overtime or weekend work depending on production needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures
