Job Summary
Shift Lead at Dutch Bros in Loves Park, IL. Lead the shift to uphold Dutch Bros culture, standards, and the brand manifesto while ensuring a mind-blowing customer experience. Responsibilities include training new Broistas operationally and culturally, solving shift-level issues, managing inventory and cash handling, coordinating with the Shop Manager and Shop Leads, and ensuring readiness for promotions and specials. The role requires strong leadership and communication to model the company values, maintain energy and attitude on shift, and support shop performance through inventory, cleanliness, and adherence to policies. Must have or obtain a Food Handler Permit as required by local regulations, and be available for a flexible, ever-changing schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Required Qualifications
- 6 months of Broista experience preferred
- No disciplinary action in past 90 days
- Successful completion of most recent flowcheck (90% score or better)
- Food Handler Permit/Certification as required by state/local regulations
- Ability to complete and maintain mandatory certificates and training
- Availability to work minimum of 32 hours per week
- Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to count tills, manage inventory, and maintain cleanliness per standards
- Ability to communicate with leadership and train new Broistas operationally and culturally
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures per Shift Lead Field Guide and Employee Handbook
