Part-Time Sheriff Deputy

Part-time Sheriff Deputy responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing crime, protecting life and property, and enforcing laws and ordinances. Responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, investigating crimes and accidents, arresting suspects and testifying in court, preparing detailed reports and maintaining records, and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies. Qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred), 2-week KLETC certification within 1 year of hire, background check and drug screening, and a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to ethical standards.
