Part-Time Service Clerk

Job Summary
Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles, retrieve carts from the parking area, and perform bottle tasks and janitorial duties as needed. Use proper bagging supplies and techniques when handling guests' purchases, empty bottle bins, and clean bottle machines and the return area. Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts while taking out and loading groceries into customers' vehicles. Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines and maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department. Follow all PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines. Work independently in a typical retail environment with varied temperatures and potential outside weather exposure.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The associate may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- The employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
