Job Summary
The Server in a restaurant-style senior living environment is responsible for serving meals and ensuring an efficient and pleasant dining experience for senior residents. Essential duties include taking orders, serving food, assisting in dining room set-up, and maintaining cleanliness. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, exhibit strong customer service skills, and be able to communicate effectively. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform various tasks in a dining room setting. A neat appearance and adherence to a dress code are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to understand and relate the menu to residents
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 40 pounds
