Job Summary
Record all income, expenses, and financial activities using accounting software while maintaining the general ledger through reconciliations and discrepancy corrections. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders, manage payroll operations including wage calculations and tax withholdings, and track invoices for accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements, monitor budgets to identify variances, and assist with tax preparation and external audits. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and collaborate with vendors and clients to maintain strong relationships. This part-time position requires 10-18 hours per week onsite in Mooresville, NC, with a salary range of $25-$30/hour. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables and using formulas
- Strong understanding of GAAP bookkeeping principles and practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and client interactions
- Ability to work independently and efficiently

Desired Qualifications
