Job Summary
The role supervises unarmed security personnel on assigned part-time shifts at an aviation-security site. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring compliance with Post Orders and client regulations, conducting performance assessments, inspecting posts and equipment, responding to incidents, coaching security personnel on policies, and performing training as assigned. Administrative tasks include preparing daily activity reports, sign-in/out rosters, and incident documentation. The position requires strong communication, professional appearance, the ability to enforce security rules, and capability to coordinate with management for scheduling and operations. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (associates degree or higher preferred), U.S. citizenship or lawful status, Class D license, valid driver’s license, and at least two years of supervisor experience in security or related fields. The job is part-time, with training and on-the-job duties performed in an airport security environment, located in Orlando, FL.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED required; Associates Degree or higher preferred
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident
- Class D license required
- Valid driver’s license required
- At least two (2) years of responsible Supervisor experience in security, military, or law enforcement operations
- Must be neat, well-groomed, and present a professional appearance
- Strong communication skills; ability to identify, address, and resolve problems; ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Ability to follow all screening/security policies and procedures; able to complete CAS training and re-currency training as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; physical capability for standing/walking for long periods; sensory requirements (hearing, vision) adequate for duty
- Ability to work on part-time shifts across all shifts; in airport environment; ability to work in a security role with post-specific duties
