Job Summary
Conduct foot patrols and manage static access control posts to ensure client, staff, and community safety during special events in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Monitor surveillance cameras for security concerns, identify and de-escalate threats or hazards, and respond to emergency situations as needed. Proactively engage in on-site duties to maintain smooth event flow and report pertinent information to supervisors while compiling data for appropriate personnel. Complete required company-paid training, including Pennsylvania Act 235 certification for armed positions, and interact professionally with all individuals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 Lethal Weapons certification
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments
- Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports
