Job Summary
Part-Time Security position in Lincoln, NE with Securitas Security Services. The role involves providing impeccable customer service and peace of mind to clients and guests, upholding integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. Responsibilities include conflict resolution and de-escalation, identifying and reporting safety issues or hazards, ensuring post orders are followed, performing interior and exterior patrols, and carrying out tasks of similar scope. Candidates should be 18+, have a High School Diploma or GED (or be able to complete GED within 6 months), possess above-average computer skills, and have excellent communication and reporting abilities. Security, law enforcement, or military experience is preferred. Must remain calm under pressure, be vigilant, and able to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and escalation. Pre-employment screening (drug screen and background) is required, with potential cross-training for multiple posts. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- Above average computer / technology skills needed
- Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred
- Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed
- Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Excellent communication and reporting skills needed
- Must have the ability to cross train for multiple posts
