Job Summary
Provide excellent security services at the venue, including performing regular patrols, monitoring facility cameras, and authorizing entrance of vehicles or people. Communicate effectively with security and surveillance teams using radio and phone to relay information and emergencies, while reporting safety concerns and handling security issues or trespassers appropriately. Act as a dispatcher, maintain knowledge of applicable laws and policies, and participate in required training programs. Work weekends, nights, and holidays in varying weather conditions while delivering quality customer service and writing daily incident reports.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year event security experience
- Must be age 21 or older
- Must have no felony convictions
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to be trained and certified in First Aid/CPR
- Ability to handle crisis situations calmly
- Intermediate knowledge of computer technology
- Proficient in English communication, both written and oral
- Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol test
- Must maintain required SPO licensing and training standards
- Work weekends, nights, holidays, and/or extended shifts
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to lift/moving up to 45 pounds
- Must be able to kneel or stoop
