Job Summary
Observe and report activities or incidents at the assigned site, providing security for studio property and personnel. Patrol the site on foot, bicycle, or golf cart to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, and unauthorized persons. Control access through the admittance process by verifying permissions and refusing entry to those without documentation. Respond to incidents including fire, medical emergencies, flooding, and hazardous materials. This role requires standing for long periods and may involve outdoor work in all weather conditions. Security officers may be assigned to any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime on short notice. Current CA Guard Card and driver's license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service
- English language skills (verbal and written) must be at a level to communicate and give directions effectively during emergencies
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects (e.g., stage doors) that can weigh more than 50 pounds
- Current CA Guard Card
- Current CA driver's license
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime on short or even no notice
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of security or public safety experience
