Job Summary
Ensure a safe and positive shopping experience for all guests by protecting property on foot and by vehicle while remaining visible and observant. Maintain the security cellular phone and professionally respond to all calls for service within the center. Remain calm and handle any issues confidently and professionally while applying conflict resolution skills. Assist the security manager in implementing the center's safety work plan, surveillance, and programs. Document activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, ensuring all work product is concise, accurate, and thorough. Perform all duties according to OSHA-established health and safety standards. This part-time role requires 20-24 hours per week with weekend availability, offering a competitive hourly range of $20-22.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year or more of security experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional observational skills
- Security Officer's must be available to work weekends
Desired Qualifications
- First-aid and CPR certification preferred
