Job Summary
Elementary school secretary role focused on delivering comprehensive secretarial support to the district. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing phone calls and messages, preparing letters and emails, maintaining calendars, processing enrollment and transcripts, handling attendance and student records, coordinating meetings, preparing reports and requisitions, managing inventory and vendor quotes, and ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Requires strong keyboarding/data-processing skills, reliability, organization, and effective communication with staff and the public; bilingual ability is advantageous. A pre-employment skill test may be required. 5.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, 210 school days per year; high school diploma required. Performs duties under supervision and adheres to district policies and procedures.
