Job Summary
Operate the cash register by processing appropriate tenders and maintaining accurate cash register records. Restock the sales floor while following visual merchandising guidelines, including lifting boxes weighing up to 35 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet. Assist visitors with product selection and offer complementary products while navigating complex topics with sensitivity and respect. May open and close the store independently. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and maintain prompt and regular attendance is required. This part-time seasonal role runs until September 1 at Fort Frederica National Monument on St. Simon's Island, Georgia, supporting the NPS through retail sales and public education.
